Jack Eckles--photos

Spc. Yokum

I have attached 2 pic.s of what happens when a VBIED (vehicle borne improvised explosive device) goes off. I don't the details of how many where killed/wounded, but it was supposed to be directed at the Iraqi
Police (IP).

CPT Miick, one of my CA Team Chiefs is getting some rehydration. I am in the background.

These pictures are of a Camel Spider. The one shown is about 4" long, average size. Sometimes they get bigger. This one was found inside our parking bay, inside our building that we live in. He was pretty ferocious. When he was caught he bared his fangs (all four of them) quite well. He runs pretty fast too. So, far he is the only we KNOW OF, but they are not aggressive unless, like most creatures, you tick them off. This one was really ticked. I teased him with a plastic knife and he tried to chew it up. They have been known to eat small mice on occasion.
